The Thammasat University Council Meeting No. 7\/2025, on 29 July 2025, passed a resolution approving the conferral of an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Actuarial Science on Mr. Anon Wangwasu, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University. A tribute and congratulatory event was therefore held on the occasion of Thammasat University conferring the Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Actuarial Science for the 2024 academic year on Mr. Anon Wangwasu, former President of the Thai General Insurance Association, who currently serves as Advisor to the Executive Committee of the Thai General Insurance Association and Chairman of Road Accident Victims Protection Co., Ltd.
