Ms. Kanlaya Jukhom, Deputy Executive Director, Thai General Insurance Association, together with the Accounting-Finance and Investment Committee, and Ms. Nusara Bunyatpiyaphot, President of the Thai Life Assurance Association, and the working group, jointly discussed with the Revenue Department the consideration of tax practice guidelines following changes to financial reporting standards on insurance contracts, 1st/2025 meeting, to discuss and reach conclusions on approaches for improving tax law for the life and non-life insurance business, under the impact of adopting TFRS17 financial reporting standards. Ms. Saowakhon Meesaeng, Director of the Tax Policy and Planning Bureau, Revenue Department, chaired the meeting, on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, from 10:00–12:00, at Meeting Room 701, 7th Floor, Thai Life Assurance Association.
