Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director, Thai General Insurance Association, attended the press conference “‘Prachin’ Stands First, Safe Roads, Reassured with Insurance,” under the project to build a model area for road safety and a campaign for compulsory motor insurance 2025, organized by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) together with the insurance industry, to promote a model area for road safety and increase awareness about compulsory motor insurance.
At the event, Mr. Seri Kawinrachatarot, Chairman of the Motor Insurance Committee, Thai General Insurance Association, joined a panel discussion under the topic Road Safety Talk: “Decoding the 304 Accident: Pinning Prachin as a Model for Road Safety,” exchanging views with various public and private sector agencies.
Honored by Mr. Chuchat Pramoolpol, Secretary-General of the OIC, who presided over the ceremony, and Mr. Weeraphan Dee-on, Governor of Prachinburi Province, who gave a keynote address, together with representatives from the insurance business sector, government agencies, and the media attending the event, on 21 April 2025, at the Thanthip Meeting Room, Kantary 304 Hotel, Prachinburi Province.
