Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director, Thai General Insurance Association, shared perspectives and approaches to using “insurance” as an important tool for risk management and supporting sustainable tourism in southern Thailand, through the panel discussion “Managing Risk with Insurance, Creating Opportunities for Sustainable Tourism,” at the event “Eat, Walk, Travel, Sail Sustainably Through the South with Insurance,” under the project to proactively promote insurance products sustainably at the regional level, organized by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) Region 8 (Surat Thani) together with the OIC Krabi Provincial Office, on Monday, 20 October 2025, at the Sai Ngoen Meeting Room, Krabi Resort Hotel, Krabi Province.
