Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director, and Ms. Kanlaya Jukhom, Deputy Executive Director, Thai General Insurance Association, attended the OECD-ADBI Roundtable on Insurance and Retirement Savings in Asia, organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) together with the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), with support from the Government of Japan.
The meeting served as an important platform for exchanging knowledge and experience on insurance market development, supervision and regulation, promoting insurance access, and retirement savings, with representatives from regulatory agencies, policymakers, and the insurance industry from several countries in the Asian region attending. On this occasion, the Association exchanged views and followed key trends in the regional insurance industry, in order to apply knowledge and best practices to promote and develop Thailand’s insurance industry to be strong, adaptive to change, and sustainably growing, held on 2–3 June 2026 in Colombo, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
