Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director, Thai General Insurance Association, joined activities in the ‘OIC for Society’ project in Phang Nga and Phuket Provinces, as a panel discussion participant providing knowledge and promoting the use of insurance as a risk management tool, together with the OIC, the Thai Life Assurance Association, the Thai Insurance Brokers Association, the Thai Life Assurance Agents and Financial Advisors Association, tourism operators, and related government agencies in the area, to build awareness and promote various types of insurance, such as travel insurance, accident insurance, and home fire insurance, in 2 provinces, namely:
1. OIC for Society, Phang Nga Province, joined a panel discussion on ‘Insurance and Building a City of Happiness,’ on Thursday, 9 January 2025, at the Phang Nga Provincial Government Center, Mueang District, Phang Nga Province
2. OIC for Society, Phuket Province, joined a panel discussion on ‘Phuket City and Sustainable Development through Insurance,’ on Friday, 10 January 2025, at the Thai Hua Museum, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket Province
