Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director of the Thai General Insurance Association, together with the Association’s team, welcomed a delegation from Taiwan’s Agricultural Finance Agency, Ministry of Agriculture, led by Mr. Lee, Hung-Jen, Deputy Director, and Ms. Lin, Yan-Ru, Officer, along with executives from the Taiwan Agricultural Insurance Fund (TAIF), namely Mr. Huang, Che-Yuan, Manager, and Ms. Cai, Xin-Yi, Executive Officer, accompanied by executives from Aon Thailand, on a visit to exchange views.
The discussion covered an exchange of information on the overview of the crop insurance systems in Thailand and Taiwan, as well as the operating mechanisms of related agencies, with a Q&A session to exchange in-depth experience and perspectives, which will benefit the future development of cooperation in agricultural insurance.
