The Marine and Logistics Insurance Club held a seminar on “Risks and Approaches to Cargo and Logistics Insurance Underwriting for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV),” honored by Ms. Treethip Thongjanthip, Chairwoman of the Marine and Logistics Insurance Club, who presided over the opening.
This seminar highlighted new challenges in the electric vehicle industry, including battery technology, risks from transport and storage, as well as approaches to assessing and preventing damage, to build knowledge and practical guidance for the insurance business to keep pace with change, while also strengthening good relationships among member companies.
A total of 91 participants attended from 31 member companies, including the Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee, the Marine and Logistics Insurance Club, the Office of Insurance Commission, and the Thailand Insurance Institute, on 23 September 2025 at Seminar Room 501, Thai General Insurance Association.
