The Marine and Logistics Insurance Club held a seminar on “Freight Forwarder Insight: Building Understanding of the International Freight Forwarding Business and Risk Management,” honored by Mr. Juthawat Pengsri, Chairman of the Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee, who presided over the opening, and honored by Mr. Chalermsak Kanjanavarin, President of the Thai International Freight Forwarders Association, who gave a lecture on “The Role, Duties, and Responsibilities of Freight Forwarders.”
This seminar aimed to build knowledge and understanding of the role, duties, and responsibilities of freight forwarders, focusing on enabling participants to apply the knowledge gained to underwriting effectively, as well as to develop appropriate practices consistent with claims settlement considerations, while also strengthening good relationships among member companies.
A total of 93 participants attended from 26 member companies, the Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee, the Marine and Logistics Insurance Club, and the Thailand Insurance Institute, on 18 February 2026 at Seminar Room 501, Thai General Insurance Association.
