The Thai General Insurance Association (TGIA), together with the Thai Insurance Brokers Association (TIBA), hosted the “Thailand Reinsurance Conference (TRC) 2025” for the first time in Thailand, with over 800 participants from 24 countries across 4 continents, and more than 37 partner reinsurance and insurance broker companies. This is a historic international platform for “reinsurance” in Thailand, aimed at building a cooperation network among reinsurers, reinsurance brokers, and insurance companies from around the world, to genuinely elevate Thailand into the insurance and reinsurance hub of the ASEAN region.
The event was honored by Dr. Benjarong Suwankiri, Assistant Minister for the Ministry of Finance, who presided over the opening ceremony, together with Mr. Chuchat Pramoolpol, Secretary-General of the Office of Insurance Commission, who delivered a special keynote address. There were also over 12 topics presented by both Thai and international speakers, held during 30 October – 1 November 2025 at The Athenee Hotel Bangkok, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
