The Law and Regulation Committee met with Police Colonel Surapong Plengkham, Secretary-General of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), to congratulate him on officially assuming his position, and to thank him for the good cooperation between the two parties. The meeting also discussed important legal issues related to the insurance business, such as approaches for data sharing under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), including the non-life insurance business sector’s practice guidelines under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (TGIA PDPA Guidelines), with a total of 11 participants attending, marking an important opportunity to exchange views, strengthen understanding, and drive personal data protection operations to comply efficiently with legal standards, on 11 March 2025, at the PDPA Center Meeting Room, People’s Service Center, PDPC Office.
