The Motor Insurance Committee, through the Motor Claims Club, held the seminar ‘Approaches for Preventing Motor Insurance Fraud,’ for motor insurance claims staff of member companies in each province of the Eastern region, comprising 12 provinces: Chanthaburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Trat, Prachinburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Rayong, Lopburi, Sa Kaeo, Saraburi, Sing Buri, and Ang Thong.
This aimed to build awareness of current forms and methods of motor insurance fraud, to exchange views, knowledge, and experience, and included a panel discussion to hear perspectives on approaches for preventing insurance fraud from relevant experts in both the public and private sectors, so that the knowledge gained could be applied as an effective operational guideline, with a total of 180 participants attending the training, on Monday, 24 March 2025, at the Thienking Room, Health Land Resort & Spa Pattaya Hotel, Chonburi Province.
