Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director, Thai General Insurance Association, was honored to be a special guest lecturer on the topic “Insurance Value Chain: Transforming Insurance with Technology,” through the OIC InsurTech Roadshow activity, organized by the Center of InsurTech, Thailand (CIT), Office of Insurance Commission (OIC). This lecture aimed to raise insurance knowledge and promote the application of technology in the insurance industry, as well as to serve as a guideline for creating innovation that meets the needs of the insurance industry, consumers, and the public. Ms. Prapapat Kulpavarophas, Senior Expert, OIC, along with faculty and students from the Faculty of Information Technology and Innovation, Computer Science and Information Technology programs, attended the lecture, with more than 100 participants.
This activity reflects the important role of the Thai General Insurance Association in supporting human capital development and promoting the insurance innovation ecosystem, to drive Thailand’s insurance industry to grow sustainably.
