Representatives of the Motor Insurance Committee, the Accident and Health Insurance Committee, and the Law and Regulation Committee, Thai General Insurance Association, together with the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) and the working group of the Thai Life Assurance Association, held the 2nd/2025 working group meeting on the Industry Data Exchange System Project (Open Insurance), to discuss the process for exchanging and verifying insurance data within the industry.
At the meeting, the OIC reported progress on data exchange, and presented Use Cases for data exchange in the business sector. The meeting also discussed various issues, such as approaches for requesting and withdrawing consent, and determining insurance product groups for the next phase of implementation. Ms. Chayanin Kerdphonngam, Deputy Secretary-General for Strategy and Technology, OIC, chaired the meeting.
