The Accounting-Finance and Investment Committee, through the Insurance Accountants Club, held training to build knowledge and understanding of financial disclosure on sustainability and climate change, in line with IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 standards for the insurance business, aimed at enabling participants to understand the principles and practical approaches, and apply them to appropriately prepare for such disclosures.
This training was honored by PricewaterhouseCoopers ABAS Ltd. (PwC) as lecturer, and is pending course approval from the Federation of Accounting Professions, to count 6.5 hours toward Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for auditors and accountants, which can only be counted for onsite participants. This training was held on Tuesday, 9 September 2025, from 09:00–17:00, at the Seminar Room, Thai General Insurance Association, with a total of 195 participants from 41 member companies, comprising 90 onsite and 105 online.
