Thai General Insurance Association Attends Seminar “Tax Briefing – Understanding U.S. Trade Developments from a Thailand Business Perspective”

The Thai General Insurance Association, represented by Mr. Siri Sawanpornphen, Vice Chairman of the Accounting-Finance and Investment Committee, together with Mr. Juthawat Pengsri, Chairman of the Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee, and Ms. Pornsri Bannakulroj, Vice Chairwoman of the Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee, attended the seminar “Tax Briefing – Understanding U.S. Trade Developments from a Thailand Business Perspective,” on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, from 10:00–12:00, at One Bangkok Tower 3, 35th Floor.

This seminar was organized by the Commercial Section, Embassy of the United States of America in Thailand, to share perspectives from the U.S. Embassy on U.S. investment policy. The seminar also featured a team of experts from EY Corporate Services Limited (EY), who provided information on the impact of changes in U.S. trade and tax policy, approaches to accessing U.S. tax benefits and incentives, as well as presenting Thailand’s investment promotion measures under the Qualified Refundable Tax Credits (QRTC) program, in the context of implementing the BEPS Pillar Two framework, to build understanding for the Thai business sector in adapting to and sustainably leveraging international economic opportunities.
