The Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee held training on “Marine Cargo Underwriting,” honored by Mr. Juthawat Pengsri, Chairman of the Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee, who presided over the opening.
The training content covered risk exposure identification from cargo transport, approaches to managing loss potential, as well as knowledge of international sanctions and their impact on cargo insurance. This knowledge will help enhance operational expertise, raise the efficiency of cargo insurance underwriting to be more thorough and in line with current circumstances, and strengthen good relationships among member companies.
A total of 72 participants attended from 27 member companies, the Marine and Logistics Insurance Committee, the Marine and Logistics Insurance Club, and the Office of Insurance Commission, on 20 January 2026 at Seminar Room 501, Thai General Insurance Association.
