The Motor Claims Club and the Motor Insurance Lawyers Club jointly held the seminar “Approaches to Preventing Motor Insurance Fraud,” 2nd Time, aimed at building knowledge and understanding to keep pace with current patterns and methods of motor insurance fraud, as well as to study and learn from real case studies, which would benefit the work of those involved in the field.
The seminar was honored by Mr. Chao Churak, Advisor, Motor Claims Club, who gave a special lecture on “Approaches to Investigating Motor Insurance Fraud,” and Mr. Nattakrit Karnwai, Director of the Special Case Division, Special Case Investigation Co., Ltd., who gave a special lecture on “Case Study: Investigating Fraud Involving Big Bike and High-End Motorcycle Insurance.”
In addition, there was an activity for seminar participants to exchange views and experiences with the speakers and other attendees, in a brainstorming activity on approaches to investigating motor insurance fraud, honored by Mr. Pichai Chimkhan, Chairman of the Motor Insurance Lawyers Club, Mr. Chao Churak, Advisor, Motor Claims Club, and Mr. Nattakrit Karnwai, Director of the Special Case Division, Special Case Investigation Co., Ltd., who jointly provided comments and recommendations on both operational and legal matters.
Furthermore, participants gained knowledge and perspectives on both regulatory law and operational practice from 4 experts from the public and private sectors: Mr. Chanchai Chalanonniwat, Senior Public Prosecutor, Office of Criminal Litigation; Ms. Rati Pimsaman, Senior Director, Rights and Benefits Protection Bureau, Office of Insurance Commission; Mr. Suwat Radomsuttikul, Vice Chairman, Motor Insurance Committee; and Mr. Cherdchai Thongkuna, Chairman of the Motor Claims Club, in a panel discussion on “Staying Ahead of Insurance Fraud,” with a total of 220 participants attending the seminar, on 13 March 2026 at the R.S. Grand Ballroom, R.S. (Rajasuphamitr) Hotel, Kanchanaburi Province.
