Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director, Thai General Insurance Association, together with the Association’s team, welcomed Ms. Aisyah Muhammad Fuad, Market Head SEAS, P&C Reinsurance, Swiss Re Asia Pte. Ltd., for a discussion on the overview of Thailand’s non-life insurance market in 2025, which shows a trend of gradual expansion, with motor insurance remaining a key market base, although growth remains constrained by various environmental factors. The discussion also covered views on the resilience of Thailand’s non-life insurance market amid an increasingly volatile global risk landscape, as well as Swiss Re’s role in strengthening resilience and supporting capacity for Thailand’s insurance industry, in line with the Association’s approach to ongoing cooperation in the future, on 2 April 2026 at the Thai General Insurance Association.
