1st Public Hearing on “The Future of Consumer Protection: Analyzing the Necessity, Direction, and Feasibility of the Right to Repair in the Thai Context”

Mr. Suwat Radomsuttikul, Vice Chairman of the Motor Insurance Committee, Mr. Cherdchai Thongkuna, Chairman of the Motor Claims Club, Ms. Peeraya Kuwangkadilok, Committee Member of the Motor Claims Club, and representatives from the working group on repair costs and auto parts quality certification, attended the 1st Public Hearing on “The Future of Consumer Protection: Analyzing the Necessity, Direction, and Feasibility of the Right to Repair in the Thai Context” for the automobile and motorcycle group, organized by the Office of the Consumer Protection Board and Thammasat University, to exchange views, recommendations, and information beneficial to research studies, as well as to develop policy proposals and appropriate legal or regulatory approaches related to the right to repair in Thailand concerning automobiles, electric vehicles, and motorcycles, on 19 May 2026 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Challenger Building.
