Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director of the Thai General Insurance Association, and Mr. Anon Santiwisuth, Managing Director of Thai Insurance Research and Development Co., Ltd. (TIRD), together with the Association’s team, welcomed Mr. Mithran Marcus, Vice President, and Mr. Roshiv Sheth, Chief Marketing Officer, from Approved Group International (AGI), for a visit to exchange views and discuss trends in the insurance industry, both domestically and internationally.
The discussion focused on building cooperation and developing partner networks between organizations, exchanging knowledge related to the insurance business, and discussing the potential to support training programs to strengthen knowledge, understanding, and capacity building for personnel in the insurance system. In addition, AGI introduced modern technologies that can be applied to improve the efficiency of insurance operations, including loss surveying, damage assessment, risk analysis, and supporting insurance business processes to be faster, more accurate, and of a higher standard.
This discussion is in line with the Association’s approach of promoting cooperation and knowledge exchange with partners both domestically and internationally, to help drive the development of Thailand’s insurance sector toward stable and sustainable growth, held on 1 July 2026 at the Thai General Insurance Association.
